Diego Wong is a 2028 3B/RHP/IF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Hillcrest. Medium build with some strength for his age and more to come. 8.01 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense who graded out higher as a right handed pitcher at this event. Has step by step actions to the ball, arm strength is his best defensive tool, throws from a 3/4's slot with some carry, can speed up his release. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright stance with a hanging leg raise timer, tends to get his foot down late to start his swing, downhill swing plane and will get to his front side early, has strength he isn't using. Works from a well paced delivery on the mound with some coil over the rubber, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with some run and sink. Curveball had nice depth and some 11/5 bite, good feel for spinning and locating his curveball. Good student.
