Luke Hoffman is a 2027 MIF/RHP, OF a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Foothill Ranch, CA who attends Trabuco Hills. Compact athletic build. On the dirt, he waits back to the fielding point. The glove secured each ball, shows enough lateral agility to get to the fielding point on time when working directionally. Delivered it across accurately at times. In the outfield, he works with athletic approach. Carries the gained momentum into the throws, early signs of feel to throw downhill with strength. Right handed hitter, medium base with a toe tap trigger. Top hand dominant hitter, stays through contact well. Line drive approach, geared through the middle. Flashes of above average bat speed. Linear low effort delivery with minimal use of the lower half. Full arm swing with ease to the three-quarters release. Mixed bag in terms of results but continued to progress as he went along. Relied on a round 11-5 breaking ball as his put away pitch. 7.86 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
