Samuelson worked exclusively from his primary IF spot during workouts, showcasing intent to stay on top of throws and carry momentum through release. Developing lateral range displayed with projectable glove actions. Topped out at 73 mph across the diamond. Offensively, started from a wider base with shorter stride into impact. Direct path through the zone with consistent impact generated to the middle of the field. Solid control of the barrel for age, posted an exit velo of 80 mph. Ran a 7.66 sixty yard dash. Good student.
