Zak Filipowicz is a 2028 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Machesney Park, IL who attends Harlem. Medium size frame. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. Versatile infielder and outfielder with fundamental athletic movements, developing footwork at both spots, the ability to glove the baseball with average glove actions and developing arm strength. All the traits to make the routine play. Hit from an even base with leg lift timing. Strength in the swing, developing ability to get the swing connected to backside rotation, opposite fields approach with average barrel control. Three pitch mid out of a high three-quarter slot on the mound. Mid 70's fastballs, 11-5 shape curve with developing spin traits and some feel for throwing a straight change up with maintained arm speed. Very good student.
