William Lepre is a 2027 RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from McLean, VA who attends The Heights. Features a longer and lanky build. Ran a 7.24 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed developing actions. Worked will taller posture in getting to his spots where he would get set late into fielding position. Got square to the baseball on GBs right at him and to the forehand side but showed stiff glove actions to his backhand side. Used a shorter arm action that got off accurate throws across with avg. strength for his level. At the plate, he sits in a relaxed stance and gets off a swing with minimal moving parts. Uses a smaller forward move and takeback of the hands. Hands are thrown direct and inside the baseball where the barrel works with some length through contact. Showed avg, bat speed and impact for his level. Some inconsistent timing throughout his round but found some quality barrels to the middle of the field. On the mound, he showed a more tall/fall delivery. Used that similar shorter arm action from the INF where it shoots out towards 2B and then works up to a 3/4 slot. His fastball worked into the upper 70s, topping 79 and exhibited some downhill action to it. Mixed in a breaking ball that varied in shape but broke off a couple with some late downward action that produced some whiffs. In his outing he showed some command issues but he was able to work out of it.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
