Sam Loflin is a 2029 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. On the mound, its a slow deliberate delivery with belt high lift and slight drop and drive tendencies. High three-quarters release. Filled up the zone just needs phyiscal maturity to set in. In the infield, the feet work direct to the baseball. Glove works out front and secured everything. Not a ton of arm strength presently but was accurate across. At first base, shows decent feel for the footwork and timing coming off the base. Glove is standard with accurate throws to both bases. Right-handed hitter, moderate base with big weight shift and deep arm bar load. The apporach utilized the entire field and will be benfited greatly from added strength to snap the barrel. 9.79 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
