Noel Soto is a 2027 C/1B with a 5-6 155 lb. frame from Bellerose, NY. Soto worked exclusively from his primary spot behind the plate defensively, starting from a higher side saddle set flashing young refining mechanics that produced consistently accurate throws around the bag. He has room to speed up the transfers with developing carry down to 2B up to 66 mph. Posted a 2.29 pop time. Arm strength has plenty of time to develop as a '27 prospect. Offensively, the righty started from an upright, narrow base with a high hand set and high back elbow. He utilized a toe tap trigger with intent to create lift in the bat path and work all parts of the field. Flashed evident strength in the hands when timed up, posting an exit velo of 75 mph. Ran a 5.66 forty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
