Daniel Sangemino is a 2030 3B/RHP/C with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Santa Fe Catholic. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.78 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves well laterally in the dirt, can get tall in actions, glove plays nicely out front and works into a quick arm action, effort at release but good arm strength across the diamond, maintained balance well on slow roller play. Also pitched, upside on the bump, quick leg lift with big separation out of the glove, gets into lower half well and works to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, heavy traits through the zone with running life; sequences well and showed feel for curveball up to 67 mph, nice depth with tilt through the zone. Right-handed hitter, begins with a medium base and a high back elbow at the plate, uses a small leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Stationary hands at start, stays direct to the ball from launch with a longer stride moving into contact. Contact oriented approach, line drive contact coming off to the middle of the field, shows a present handle for the barrel.
