John Broad is a 2028 1B/RHP, C, 2B, 3B, SS with a 5-6 180 lb. frame from Tellico Plains, TN who attends Tellico Plains. Recorded a 8.59 second 60-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with a medium frame and solid build, deep funnel, working to read hops correctly with fluidity, drops the slot on turns, slower charge, made the plays with developing arm strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher, windup with a side step pivot, medium arm swing with a belt high lift, direct down the slope, flips in curveballs for strikes, mix and matches his arsenal nicely with eye level changes. Took reps at catcher, squared off feet, working to gain momentum out of crouch and use that behind throws. Right-handfed hitter, even base with hands by chest, dips heavy into backside with an almost crouching like position, lifts it pullside, consistent round and components work for him, also hit in game as well. Compact framed athlete with a consistent hit tool on display this weekend.
