Gavin Long is a 2027 3B/2B with a 5-4 125 lb. frame from Shelton, CT who attends Shelton. High waisted, slender frame with plenty of time and room to add strength. Recorded a 7.56 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Deliberate paced actions with some lateral range, bends slightly at the waist to field and recorded arm strength up to 67 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly crouched stance with tight hands, a low back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Whole field approach with uphill swing path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments, additional strength and maturity.
