Paris Head is a 2029 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Homewood-Flossmoor. Medium athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, works through the baseball with sound footwork and controlled actions. Has good lateral range and adjustability in the dirt. Glove actions were quick and clean. Releases the baseball from a higher arm slot. Delivered accurate throws up to 85 mph across the diamond. Secondary pitcher, operates from a slower full wind-up delivery with a coiled leg lift up above the belt. Pushes off the first base side of the rubber. Separates into a deeper arm path before releasing the baseball from a 3/4 arm slot. Moves freely with good rhythm to the operation. Fastball showed heavy life with some arm-side run, topping out at 87 mph. Mixed in a depthy 11-5 curveball with some bite to it as well as a changeup with late depth. Right-handed batter, starts in a narrow stance with high back elbow and low hand set-up. Utilizes a small toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a line drive stroke. Rotates the hips quickly, generating plenty of bat speed through the zone. Showed good feel for working the middle of the field during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 88 mph. Named to play in the Perfect Game 14U Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
