Joe Vinyard is a 2027 OF/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Urbandale, IA who attends Waukee Northwest. he has a tall frame with an athletic build and a high waist and plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.28 seconds. Primary outfielder that showed twitchy actions to the ball and fielded it cleanly off his front foot. He gets the glove down later in the process and is able to make clean transfers to this throwing hand. He features a longer throwing action and fires from a lower slot. He was able to make accurate, one hop throws to the base. Left-handed hitter that starts in a wider base with high hands and a high back elbow. He coils into his load and uses an inward stride for timing. He has a loose swing and utilizes an uphill swing path looking to elevate the ball into the outfield. He creates nice barrel whip through the zone that allowed him to leverage the ball into the gap when he makes contact out in front of the plate. He is not afraid to let the ball travel into the hitting zone and looks to use the entire field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
