Evan Koh is a 2028 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Acton, MA who attends Acton-Boxborough Reg. Tall and slender young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Works from a standard leg raise delivery with an on-line landing out front and good extension on release, has a deep and full arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph with moderate arm side running life. Threw a slurve type slider as his breaking ball, showed an advanced feel for his age locating the pitch and manipulating the pitch shape. Flashed a developing change up. Good bet to keep improving on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a busy lower half load, inconsistent timing but has some bat speed and ability to drive the ball when he's on time, works to all fields. 5.30 runner in the forty. Played infield when not on the mound, step by step mover, fields with two hands, some ability to change throwing slots, made accurate throws. Very good student.
