Cameron Barber is a 2028 RHP/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Beverly, MA who attends Beverly. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean built and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, side step into a leg lift up to belt, gathers tall on backside with a shorter stride coming down the mound. Works slightly across body at release but worked around the zone, pitched to contact. Fastball topped out at 67 mph and maintained velocity, creates some sink through the zone, efficient outing and mixed in a curveball up to 58 mph. Short steps on the approach in the outfield, works to a lower release point on throws and shows accuracy to the intended target, has some carry on throws, can implement additional footwork through release. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Rotational swing, best when working on a linear path through the zone, shorter finish through the point of contact, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength, contact oriented approach.
