Dylan Weeks is a 2027 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-11 174 lb. frame from Danvers, MA who attends Danvers. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength and additional room to fill. Ran a 5.77 40-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, methodical tempo throughout delivery and coming down the mound, leg lift up to belt with a full arm stroke through the backside working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, shows some sinking life to the arm side and lived down in the zone nicely. Curveball is of the downer variety up to 61 mph, occasional tilting action to it, able to induce weak contact and lived around the zone. Flashed a changeup at 65 mph with spins in the 1500s. Tends to stay back on the ball in the infield, higher slot, accuracy on throws across the diamond with developing carry, gets the glove out front when receiving. Left-handed hitter, begins with a wide and even base. Does a nice job of staying direct to the ball, contact oriented approach, upper-body dominant swing and keeps and inside the ball, can engage additional lower half in weight shift/momentum. Very good student.
