2025 PG 14U Northeast All-State Games (Invite Only)
Christopher Rao is a 2029 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Little Neck, NY who attends Middlesex School. Taller young build with lots of projection remaining. Has a quick paced delivery on the mound with a deep arm path and a 3/4's arm slot, works from the third base side of the rubber, gets down the mound well with good extension. Fastball was in the mid 70's with some arm side life, could get out in front of his arm at times and leave the ball up arm side. Breaking ball was a sweeping slurve in the mid-60's. Worked on the outside half to both side hitters. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a busy hand load, gets into his hips and lower half very well and creates torque and bat speed, showed pull side power, ball come off the barrel well, graded out higher as a hitter than pitcher at this event. 8.04 runner in the sixty. Secondary first baseman on defense, has sound fundamentals actions with a loose 3/4's arm slot on his throws. Excellent student. Named to the 14U Northeast All-State Games Top Prospect List.
