Aaden Petruna is a 2029 C/RHP/2B with a 5-6 155 lb. frame from Moulton, AL who attends Lawrence County. Short and compact build with some present strength to build on. Right handed hitter, sets up in a wide base, has good separation in his swing and meets the ball out front, direct swing path that stays on plane for a long time, found barrels with steady middle of the field contact. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low in his stance and shows lower half flexibility and athleticism, compact arm action with a quick release on his throws, arm strength still developing but has the athleticism to keep improving. Also worked out in the infield but athleticism was more evident behind the plate. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a basic delivery and full arm swing to an over the top arm slot. Tends to miss up with a mid-60's fastball, also threw a soft 12/6 curveball
