Jaxin Hernandez is a 2025 RHP/2B, SS, OF with an athletic 5-11 155 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ. Started off the event clocking a 7.42 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher who also worked out in the infield. On the mound, Hernandez features a 3-pitch mix (FB, CB, CH) out of a high 3/4 slot. Shows fundamentally sound mechanics with a clean repeatable delivery. Works quick, downhill, and is a strike thrower. Fastball showed good arm side run, coupled with a decent slider showing sweeping action. The changeup had nice fade with same arm speed as the fastball creating deception. Defensively, he used all the proper techniques working through the baseball with confidence and made strong accurate throws to the bases from the outfield and crisp throws across the diamond from the dirt. Demonstrated and easy swing in BP where he was on the barrel for the most part of the round showing strength in the hands.
