Landon Roling is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Ainsworth, IA who attends Highland. A longer and lean frame with room to keep adding strength and filling out moving forward. Ran an 8.46 60-yard dash. Primary corner infielder who worked out at first base during the defensive portion of workouts. He fielded the ball up the middle, using two hands to secure it and funnel it into his throws. He gets into position early, showing the pocket early. He threw 65 mph across the diamond during his round of throws. A right-handed hitter who sets up with an open stance in an evenly spread base. He has high-set hands and a higher-back elbow in the stance. His hands start high by the ears, and then he lowers them and loads deep. He opens up the stance with his lower half as he works into contact -- looking to pull the ball. He worked backside well for his best contact with an all-fields approach during his round of BP swings. He stayed short to the ball with a short stride and quick path to it. Great student.
