Jack Hammons is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Novi, MI who attends Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Prep, Motor city hit dogs. Compact athletic frame. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Outfielder with footwork to and through the baseball in the outfield, developing mechanics making throws, throws uphill with developing arm strength. Left-handed hitter hit from a slightly open stance with load stride timing. Developing timing at the plate, vertical barrel through the zone, developable traits from a fundamental hitting position. Showed fastball and curve on the mound from a delivery with repeatable athletic movements and a three-quarter slot. Fastball topped at 75 and the breaking ball spun over 2300 RPM. Real feel for spin on the mound and made competitive pitches consistently. Showed definite upside on the mound.
