Tristan Prier is a 2028 3B/1B, IF, OF with a 5-6 123 lb. frame from North Liberty, IA who attends Clear Creek Amana. Works from a lean compact frame. Primary third baseman, showed some lateral range, utilized a shorter arm stroke, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 62 mph across the diamond. From the outfield, displayed proper footwork when working through the baseball, clean gather and crow hop, utilizes a shorter arm stroke, releases from a three-quarters slot, recorded arm strength up to 64 mph. Right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, starts with the hands at the belt, breaks into a shallow slightly off-line arm path, releases from a low three-quarters slot, filled up the zone with the fastball and topped it out at 64 mph, flashed a shorter curveball to disrupt hitters’ timing. Right-handed hitter, starts in an upright stance with a narrow base, high back elbow and high hand set-up, utilizes a toe tap trigger, extends the barrel out in front, showcased the ability to work the entire field, produced soft liners to the middle of the field when timed up, recorded an exit velocity of 57 mph. Ran a 9.06 sixty-yard dash.
