Nic Rivera is a 2028 OF/LHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Newport HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.28 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder with fundamentally sound footwork to the baseball while fielding it out front and working through it with confidence. Developing arm strength, but clean, while staying accurate to the bags. Even base at the plate with an open stance and a leg lift trigger. Front foot operation with a compact swing and slight uphill barrel path. More barrel strength and control to come. Standard side step delivery with a belt high leg lift, slight pause at the top and gets downhill. Stretch only operation. Throws out of a high three-quarter arm slot with developing arm speed and feel for the zone. Curveball has vertical tilt to the break.
