Brady Gogel is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Monticello, IA who attends Monticello. Medium, high-waisted frame with long levers and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary shortstop, gets a good first step on the baseball and funnels it cleanly. Slows up his momentum a bit after releasing from a lower slot. Displayed lateral range to both sides with developing adjustability. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 83 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a quick-paced full wind-up delivery from the middle of the rubber with a belt-high leg lift. Breaks the hands at the chest and into a deep arm path. Releases the ball from a low three-quarters slot. Starts and stays in his back-side as he drives directly down the slope. Fastball displayed tons of running life, ultimately peaking at 84 mph. Mixed in a sharp curveball with some bite and spin up to 2345 rpm. Showed feel for both pitches. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide stance with a high back elbow. Utilizes a knee-to-knee load before working into a level bat path. Remains balanced in the box and firm in his back-side. Takes a longer path to the ball at times. Produced fairly consistent contact during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 82 mph. Ran a 7.02 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
