Joseph Angelo is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Moraga, CA who attends Berean Christian. Features a tall/lean build with plenty of projection. Ran a 7.67 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed average quickness in his approach. Fielded everyball clean but caught it deeper at times. Used a bigger crow hop that helped create momentum into throws. Arm action is longer out the glove working with a slight stab in the back. Worked up to 75 mph with throws that were higher arcing with average accuracy. At the plate, he sits in a balanced, slightly closed stance. Uses a quick and simple trigger where his hands push back into a slight arm bar. Showed a consistent deeper point of contact throughout his round. Hands flashed quickness but front side pulled out and his barrel cut across at times. On the mound, worked exclusively from the stretch and showed an easier effort but raw operation. Arm worked loose/continuous in the back that showed some above avg. armspeed to release for his level. FB got up to 79 with a tendency to locate it to the gloveside with some natural ASR. Mixed in an upper 60s breaker that showed bigger shape.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
