Jack Potucek is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Massapequa HS. Potucek works from a medium build as a primary LHP on the mound, starting from the 1B side of the rubber displaying an easy and fluid operation with repeatable actions overall. Released from a 3/4 slot, FB topped out at 70 mph. Mixed 1-7 breaker with developing spin profile at 1444 rpm. Killed spin effectively on CH at 1177 rpm with good fading action displayed. At 1B, he showcased controlled footwork, consistently utilizing a lower release across the diamond ultimately up to 65 mph. Has some room to speed up internal clock with arm strength expected to develop as a '28 prospect. Offensively, the right handed hitter started from an even base with a lower hand set and low back elbow. Simple stride into impact with pull side approach repeated successfully. Has additional room to incorporate the lower half and create hip torque. Posted an exit velo of 71 mph. Ran a 8.37 sixty yard dash.
