Hassan Burrell is a 2029 RHP/3B with a 5-0 95 lb. frame from Rancho Cordova, CA who attends Pleasant Grove. Primary right-handed pitcher, displayed a repeatable operation with deliberate and methodical actions, utilizes a medium leg lift and full arm path, releases from a three-quarters slot. Fastball showed arm side run and was located well in the lower portion of the strike zone, induced tons of weak contact, peaked at 59 mph. Secondary third baseman, worked through the baseball well, displayed developing lateral range and footwork, worked uphill a bit on the transfer. Showcased promising glove actions and delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 58 mph across the diamond. Switch-hitter. From the right-side, starts in an even base with a low back elbow, works into a flatter and lengthy bat path, utilizes the entire field. From the left-side, starts in a similar stance, produced consistent contact to the middle of the field, has some feel for the barrel, recorded an exit velocity of 54 mph. Ran a 9.20 sixty-yard dash. Good student.
