Reagan Ricken is a 2025 RHP/C with a 6-5 220 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Long and tall athletic build with good present strength. Has a simple delivery on the mound with a long on line arm action with plenty of whip and looseness out front, high 3/4's arm slot Fastball was frequently in the mid-90's and topped out at 95 mph, up to 20" of IVB on the fastball, threw consistent strikes with the pitch. Also landed a low 80's slider well, short off the barrel breaking action. Flashed a plus change up in the upper 80's. Starter profile with some projection remaining. Two-way talent. 7.19 runner in the sixty. Secondary catcher, has obvious big arm strength as his best defensive tool. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a short stride and a deep hand load, long and lifting swing with lots of juice when he gets out front, swings hard. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State. Selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
