Austin Fluckiger is a 2028 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Beverly, MA who attends St Johns Prep. Lean athletic build with lots of growing ahead of him. 8.27 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has active feet and gets in good position to field the ball, catches the ball cleanly, makes accurate throws, has some polish to his defensive game. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight stance with a high hand load, has a hands driven downhill swing, flashed the ability impact the ball when he gets the barrel out but mostly opposite field contact, needs to simplify his approach. Also pitched, throws from a big rocker step start with a high 3/4's arm slot and some downhill angle to the plate, hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 70 mph with some sinking action.
