Infield:
- Showed solid developing footwork with methodical actions in the infield. Worked deliberately to the ball, working into a crossover step to throw. Medium length arm action through the back, releasing from a high-3/4 slot.
- Nice job throwing accurately across the diamond during the round. Focus on working through your throws to the target. This will allow the momentum to keep through the baseball, ultimately helping to deliver firmer throws.
Outfield:
- Actions stayed under control in the outfield, showing proper timing with the glove and fielding it properly off the left foot. Shorter and quicker release to get rid of it, releasing from a 3/4 slot.
- Solid and projectable arm strength, recording throws up to 68 mph in workouts. The throwing skills are there, but at times you tended to get a bit uphill when throwing. Make sure to focus on getting downhill with your throws to ensure low flight on the throws.
Hitting:
- Begins from a wider base with even feet in the box. Utilized a line drive approach throughout the round and produced consistent results. Swing has simple parts to it, repeating it well.
- Used the middle of the field with comfort and regularity, drving liners into centerfield. Stayed on the barrel and the bat-to-ball skills are advanced. You have a nice functional swing with easy components, just focus on working to get the legs and lower-half more involved.
Pitching:
- Begins delivery with a leg lift to the belt and lands on line with the foot down the slope. Good stride length and uses a compact arm actions with a 3/4 slot. Fastball topped at 68 mph and commanded the pitch well, throwing plenty of strikes during the outing.
- Mixed in a slider that showed some nice developing spin traits. The stuff projects very well moving forward, consider looking into a long toss program of your choice. This will help progress the natural process more quickly.
