Andrew Arntz is a 2027 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, MI who attends Mt Pleasant. Arntz works from a physically advanced build with evident strength proportioned throughout. Primary C, utilized a one knee set with clear bounce in the footwork. Repeated the arm action well with arm strength that should develop nicely in the future. Posted a 2.12 pop time. On the mound, started from the 1B side of the rubber with slight sinking action present to the FB up to 75 mph. Was able to record outs efficiently and pitch to contact, releasing from a high 3/4 slot. Developing spin on breaker up to 1682 rpm. Offensively, the righty started from a balanced base utilizing a leg lift trigger into impact. Attempted to work all parts of the field for contact with room to shorten up the stroke. Flashed strength in the hands when timed up, posting an exit velo of 81 mph. Ran a 8.01 sixty yard dash.
