Keisen Hayden is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Grass Valley, CA who attends Bear River. Features a tall, slender build with room to add. Primary left-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into drop and drive mechanics. Shows good athleticism down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a short arm action. Hides it well into release. Fastball sat 85-88 mph with slight armside run. Looks to go right at hitters with the offering. Maintains arm speed well on changeup at 74-75 mph. Can create fading action and gets hitters out front. Flashed a low-70’s slider with sharp, late action. Pitch mix can overwhelm hitters and generate weak contact regularly. Arm strength plays in the outfield. Reached 88 mph during workouts. Still developing consistent actions into the catchpoint. Will get stiff at times. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a low hand setup. Swings on a short, lofted path. Looks to drive the ball in the air to the big part of the field. Has strength at contact. Power will continue to develop as barrel accuracy is refined. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. Good student. Named to the Northern California Prospect Showcase Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
