Rylan Milby is a 2029 RHP/2B, 3B, SS, OF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Elizabethtown, KY who attends Central Hardin. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, has room to fill throughout and develop moving forward. Ran a 7.35 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, side step moving into a leg lift just above belt, deliberate and steady tempo, clean release from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball topped out at 71 mph with occasional running life, will continue to refine a consistent release point, tends to miss arm side but ball comes out well with some whip to arm and able to generates whiffs. Bigger shape to the curveball with some depth up to 65 mph, showed it often and mixed with comfort. Shorter stride on throws across the diamond and works across body, shows accuracy on to first base, will continue to refine footwork, shows a feel for the position with nice carry and strength across diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow away from body with a wide base and bent knee stance; utilizes a double toe tap trigger for timing. Contact oriented swing and worked to all fields, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength. Very good student.
