Dean Blethen is a 2025 1B/OF with a 6-2 135 lb. frame from Walla Walla, WA who attends Walla Walla. Features a long, lean, high waisted frame. At first base he has a good set up and showed athletic actions with the ability to move well laterally. He has a clean glove with a quick arm throwing out of a low three-quarter arm slot. He has an accurate arm with solid double play feeds. At the plate he has a medium base with a pigeon toe set up and a slight leg lift. He stays connected with present bat speed and an up the middle approach. Everything stayed on a line finding barrels consistently. He is a good student.
