2024 14U Northeast All-State Games (Invite Only)
Andres Guedez is a 2028 2B/RHP with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Rye, NY who attends Rye Neck. Guedez works from a medium athletic build with additional room to fill out and add strength as a '28 prospect. Primary IF, attacked the ball aggressively with active footwork displayed. Did a nice job of carrying momentum through release, ultimately topping out at 74 mph across the diamond. Projectable glove actions with soft hands displayed. Accuracy should refine in the future. On the mound, utilized a stretch operation starting from the 1B side of the rubber. Lower leg lift just above the belt. Full deep arm path displayed with lower 3/4 release, once again up to 74 mph. Bigger shaped 12-6 breaker as primary off speed pitch at 1575 rpm. Offensively, the righty started from a wider base with a high back elbow and compact hand set. Utilized a leg lift trigger into impact with solid jump off the barrel when timed up. Good strength in the hands for age with intent behind the stroke. Posted an exit velo of 76 mph. Ran a 7.15 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
