2025 PG Spring Midwest Workout Showcase  
Michael Friedman is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Thomas Jefferson. Larger athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Left handed hitter, sets up in a wide stance with a leg raise trigger and short stride into contact, has a short and strong swing that created lots of hard line drive contact, leveraged the ball well and hit it hard to all fields, has hitting tools to continue to develop. 7.46 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has good fundamentals through the ball, stays on line with a short crow hop into his throws, made accurate throws with some carry. Also pitched, works exclusively from the stretch out of a closed start, gets down the mound well, long and clean arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with nice arm side run at times, has been up to 85 mph multiple times at PG events. Curveball had some depth and change up was a solid third pitch. Has some two-way talent for the right type of school at the next level. Excellent student. Named to the PG Spring Midwest Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
