Keaton Bowman is a 2030 1B/RHP3B with a 6-2 192 lb. frame from Rosharon, TX who attends Almeta Crawford High School. Large, square shouldered frame with long limbs and some present strength, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran an 8.71 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, moves well away from the bag, clean glove skill out front into a longer exchange, shows carry on throws across the diamond. Works behind the ball well in the infield dirt, higher slot on throws across and stays consistent with it, shows accuracy, will continue to refine moving forward. Also pitched, full wind up with a quick operation, belt high leg lift; gets into lower half coming down the mound and arm works cleanly to a three-quarters release. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, worked around the zone with late running life; slurve shape to breaker in the low-60s and can continue to maintain arm speed at its release. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Direct path to the ball from launch with comfort working to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Best contact when on time with lower half and able to incorporate physical strength.
