Jarrett Romero is a 2028 RHP/1B with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Freedom. Extra-large, broad shouldered frame with long limbs and present strength, additional room to develop moving forward. Ran an 8.62 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, deliberate tempo to operation, belt high leg lift at top of delivery with some lower half incorporated in drive down the mound. Lower release helps creates some sinking life to the fastball, topped out at 70 mph and worked around the zone to both sides of plate. Occasionally gets across body, worked only off of the fastball and able to induce weak contact. Big target at first base for infielders to throw to, accurate throws on the turn play, arm works well. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a short stride forward into contact. Incorporates physical strength well into swing, shows flashes of strength when on time. Full swing path through the zone and looks to create lift through the point of contact, can generate carry to the opposite field well.
