2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO
John Fallon is a 2028 2B/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends River Ridge. Primary 2B with a smaller build and room to add more strength. Showed good glovework on the dirt fielding it cleanly and setting up glove early. Takes good angles to the ball with footwork and showed good lateral range. Feel to work around the ball and could adjust on the slow roller and cover ground up the middle. Will need to continue to improve and develop arm strength. Has the fundamentals down. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot. Located and threw strikes. Right-handed hitter with an even base and good balance in the setup. Uses a small hand load with a short stride out into contact for timing and rhythm. Functional swing path that stays short to the ball well. Has a contact-oriented approach and consistently on time with control of the barrel. Works to all fields well but mainly middle of the field. Should continue to get stronger for more power but profiles well as a contact hitter right now who understands how to control the barrel. Excellent Student.
