Andrew Nowarita is a 2030 C/RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Valparaiso, IN who attends Valparaiso. Medium, high-waisted frame with plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.42 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher, sets up in a higher RKD stance and gains some ground during a chest-high transfer. Gets the ball out cleanly before working into an over-the-top arm slot. Kept his throws around the bag. Recorded arm strength up to 67 mph with a pop-time of 2.26 sec. Secondary pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch with drop/drive mechanics. Separates into a shorter arm path and limits separation into release. Can throw uphill at times. Fastball was fairly straight and peaked at 70 mph. Mixed in a slower curveball at 60 mph as well. Right-handed batter, sets up in a narrow, upright stance with a high hand set-up. Utilizes a simple stride for timing before working into a level path path. Generates solid bat speed through the zone with feel for working all parts of the field. Can get handsy and limit lower-half usage at times. Power will continue to improve as he adds strength and refines mechanics. Posted an exit velocity of 84 mph.
