Jack Tooke is a 2027 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Mandan, ND who attends Mandan. Recorded a 7.51 second sixty-yard dash time. Taller frame with long levers with lean and slender build. Right-handed pitcher works from a side-step into the leg lift above the belt. Drives well and opens the front hip with some drive down the mound. Higher slot with a high three- quarter angle to it. Deliberate actions in the delivery. The fastball (2037 RPM) was 79-81 with some arm-side run and some downhill angle. Showed the curveball (1986 RPM) in the mid 60s with good 11-5 depth to it. Secondary infielder with fundamental footwork and active feet. Feel to move laterally and takes good angles to the ball with rhythm and pace. Good gather and accurate to the base. Looks the part in the infield. Left-handed hitter starts from an upright base with a slightly open stance with high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a toe tap trigger. Compact swing with an uphill path with some hand and bat speed. Gets on plane with a blend of hit and power. Exciting player with good upside. Good student.
