2025 PG 14U Main Event Showcase Presented by GEICO
Grayson Liddle is a 2030 C/RHP/3B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends St. Albans School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength throughout. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, one knee down in set up during drills, gains ground coming out of crouch with quickness and maintains direction, easy transfer into a fast arm, 75 mph throw down to second base with lots of accuracy, repeats actions well. Athleticism plays in the dirt, softness to hands and shows sound internal clock, works behind the ball well, makes the plays and shows clean fundamentals. Also pitched, attacked the zone early and often with command to both sides of the plate. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, fastball jumped out of hand and showed a live arm through the back, able to miss bats and showed a tight breaking curveball up to 68 mph with maintained arm speed. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Shows quickness to hands and remains short ot and through the point of contact, able to generate carry to the pull side with nice rhythm in process. Athleticism in swing, consistent barreled contact to the pull side and repeats mechanics very well, keeps hands inside the ball nicely.
