Theo Schroedter is a 2029 SS/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-9 120 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends DePaul College Prep. Medium, narrow shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.55 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, controls body well on the move, fields the ball out front and shows some funnel into body, effort on release but shows nice present carry on throws across with accuracy, makes the plays and repeats actions. Also pitched, deliberate tempo to delivery with late acceleration, full arm path working to a three-quarters release point, works on line coming down the mound. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, on time with release and comfort mixing an 11-5 shaped curveball consistently, played it well off of fastball. Right-handed hitter, begins with hands away from body, even base with a slightly open front side. Moves teh barrel around the zone well, stays short to the ball with some present bat speed. Worked to the middle of the field with comfort, strength will continue to develop. Excellent student.
