Jazheel E. Rodriguez Aponte is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Vineland, NJ. Smaller frame with a lean, athletic build. Ran a 7.70 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays back on the ball a bit, rounds it well and stays in clean line through the ball, longer arm swing to release and developing arm strength, accurate to bags. Plays loose and easy at first base, clean plays and glove works. Pitches too, full arm stroke with looseness through a low three-quarters slot, runs the fastball a good bit and has some intriguing things to build on in terms of command. Left-handed hitter, open start and moves in line, flatter path through the zone with some length, struggles some to stay on the barrel but flashed some well-struck line drive contact.
