Ford Mercer is a 2028 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Episcopal. Long and strong build with plenty of room to get even stronger. 6.75 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, long build to it and breaks down with choppy steps at the tail end of the build, one handed gather to the side, clean arm action, three-quarters release, works through it well and gets on top, accurate. Right-handed pitcher, long levers, developing arm speed and movement patterns, deliberate motion, can get tall at release, still feeling out his body, ramped up to 81-mph in one sequence but mostly sat in the low to mid 70's, all fastball diet. Left-handed hitter, even base and upright, high hands, small lift and no stride, some hand speed to work with, developing timing, compact swing, more impact over hit right now. Good projection.
