Jacob Cerecerez is a 2028 OF/1B, UT with a 5-10 120 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Alta Loma. Features a medium-sized lean build. Ran a 7.35 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed developing actions. Glove showed some inconsistency, at times fielding out front and other times fielding deep with stiffness. Solid initial approach but slows down into reception which hurts momentum into throws. Shorter arm action out the back that got off uphill throws that were mostly accurate with avg. strength. At the plate, sits in an even base and uses a smaller/simple forward move with smaller takeback of the hands. Barrel works with some early length and disconnection as it enters the zone. Avg. bat speed for level. Flatter-type bat path that produced quality low-liners to the pullside and middle of the field.
