Jonah Meyer is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Moorhead, MN who attends Moorhead. Recorded a 8.24 second sixty-yard dash time. Smaller frame with a compact build. Left-handed pitcher works from the wind-up with a side step into the motion. Lifts the leg up around the belt with some coil and delivers from a three- quarter arm slot. The fastball (2049 RPM) was 69-72 with some depth. The low-60s curveball (1846 RPM) has a bigger 1-7 shape that he could land for strikes. Also showed a mid-to-upper 60s change-up (1802 RPM). Had a clue for the mound. Secondary outfielder fields off the front foot and works into the throws. Developing fundamental footwork with a longer arm action. Right-handed hitter starts from an even base with low hands and a low back elbow, utilizes a leg lift stride. Rotational swing with a longer bat path. Intriguing pitcher with a good ceiling as more strength is added onto the frame. Great student.
