Kidane Stephens is a 2024 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from St. Thomas, VI who attends Charlotte Amalie. Tall, lean frame. Primary third baseman, fundamentally sound footwork working around the baseball, gets the glove down early, quick transfers and showed a good arm across the diamond with accuracy around the bag, recorded throws up to 80 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, chest high leg lift, lands online, long arm action to a high three-quarters slot. Fastball heavy diet in the mid-70s, running it up to 80 mph (1892 RPM). Also worked out in the outfield, under control on the charge, gets the glove down early and works through with a one hand funnel on the side of the body, long arm action to a higher release point, good carry out of the hand, recorded throws up to 81 mph. Right-handed hitter, high hands and back elbow in the stance, high hands and back elbow, big leg lift trigger, worked hard to keep the hands inside the baseball and impact to the opposite field.
