Ian Tomlinson is a 2029 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Sayre. Long and lean young build with lots of time and room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight and medium stance with a high hand load and a short stride into contact, has an inside swing path, flashed some strength in his swing and projects power. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense who also plays in the outfield, still developing his athleticism and ability to move to the ball at both positions. Also pitched, works from the stretch with some sink into his lower half, also went to the wind up at times, step by step delivery and mechanics. Fastball topped at 76 mph with some sink down in the zone. Also threw a soft curveball and a split change up from a lower arm slot. Power potential is his best present tool. Good student.
