Carter Harcek is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Midland, MI who attends H.H. Dow. Tall and slender athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Works from a full wind up with a leg raise to his core and good direction down the mound, clean medium length arm action to a high 3/4's arm slot, clean overall operation. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with heavy running action at times, showed ride on his fastball up in the zone as well. Slider and change up both showed some quality and he was able to mix and throw strikes with all his pitches. Change up was pretty straight but had arm speed and deception, was able to add and subtract and change shape on the breaking ball. Good bet to keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student. Named to the PG Michigan Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
