Elijah Porter is a 2028 C/RHP with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Meridian, ID who attends Owyhee HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.61 60-yard dash. A primary catcher, secondary pitcher. Behind the plate, showed a decent exchange with average movements out the crouch and worked out of a squared set up. Gains quality ground and sets direction as the arm shows similar strength as from the outfield. At the plate, works from a wider closed stance and uses a heel turn trigger. Hands load the bat back into a slight arm bar. Barrel works on a level path through but with average bat speed. Some barrels to the middle of the field and pull side when he caught it out front. On the mound, side steps into a mid-chest knee tuck with a smaller drop-in-drive leg as he pushes off the rubber into a smaller stride. More compact AA that works up to a normal 3/4 slot. Lands on-line but leaks torso/energy off to 1B side. Ran the FB up to 78 and mixed in a developing breaker at the 63 that showed loose spin. Excellent student

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
